Extensive core drilling on ranch land revealed a large limestone deposit.
1994
1st W.F. Meyers narrow belt saw was installed and later, our first building was constructed.
1995
TexaStone Quarries is officially open for business!
1996
Completed our first project in Dallas, Texas.
The Science Place at TI Founders IMAX Theater
1998
Owner, Brenda Edwards, showcased TexaStone at our first stone show.
1999-2005
Expanded our facility to 56,000 sq. feet under one roof and added fabrication machines
2006
George Purefoy Municipal Center in Frisco, Texas was completed, becoming our first LEED Certified (Sustainable/ Green Level) project to be a part of.
2008
First Tucker Design Award for the George Purefoy Municipal Center (Frisco City Hall).
2008
Limestone is freeze/ thaw tested for the first time.
2010
First Pinnacle Award of Excellence for the Tesoro Corporation.
2013
Stone Extravaganza:
Full day of Texas Tech architectural students with professor, member of the West Texas Chapter of the AIA, DGM, masonry contractor from Ft. Worth, TX, Fred Jackson of Aqua Mix and members of Natural Stone Institute. Tours of quarries, fabrication, hands -on of installing stone, demonstration of stone care, lunch and net-working.
2014
1st company to certify to the new NSC 373 Standard.
Gold Quarrier & Silver Fabricator.

TexaStone and Connecticut Stone became sister companies when TexaCon Cut Stone opened its doors in Bloomington, IN. In 2019, Bedford Limestone Suppliers Group was added to the strategic group.
2015
Hosted the ASI Convention- Texas Style!
2017
Successful recertification to NSC 373. Platinum Quarrier and Fabricator.
2018
Restoration of Eggemeyer's General Store in San Angelo, Texas won both major industry awards- Pinnacle Award (2018) and a Tucker Design Award (2020).
2019
Hosted the Women in Stone Steering Committee retreat.
