The limestone sets on the surface, so there is no overburden to remove before starting to saw. The W. F. Meyers saw cuts vertical slots 10' deep and 8' horizontal wide into the stone. |

Extensive core drilling, on ranchland in 1990, revealed a limestone deposit stretching 12 miles long and 3 miles wide. West Texas weather allows us to quarry year round providing us with a large inventory of blocks.
